| 285
feet of waterfront with a clay lake bed |
Located
on a smaller Lake Pend Oreille bay, this waterfront site has a clay, non-rocky
lake bed. The waters are about 30 inches deep between June and early September,
ideal for children and providing a comfortable temperature for people wanting
to wade, drift, or swim. Many shorelines on Lake Pend Oreille are deep,
rocky, and cold. With permits, a trench can be dug to connect to a 9 foot
boat channel approximately 75 feet from the shore, permitting construction
of a dock for motor craft or sailboats. The lake lowering in the fall and
winter permits lake bed clean up in the fall or spring, as well as a super
place to fashion an ice rink or go cross-country skiing. Electrical wiring
was installed underground from the house to the beach area. Cost: priceless! |
